Omar Faruq Osman, the former general secretary of National Union of Somali Journalists who was sacked in February 2011 was arraigned before Benadir regional court on 14th March 2011, but unfortunately escaped hiding himself from transparency and corruption impeachment.

Maj. Bahuko said the investigations were carried out in Mogadishu but the three officers will serve their prison sentences in Kampala, the capital of Uganda.
