Mogadishu (Sunatimes)  Al-shabab insurgents have admitted that the Somali people are rejecting their ideologies.

One of the Shabab leaders, Abdikadir Mumin who on Friday night gave a lecture in a mosque at the Elasha Biyaha neighborhood of Mogadishu said, the local citizens were against the idea that anyone who does not conform to their prinicipals is a non-Muslim.

Mumin asked their militias not to disregard everybody.

The militants describe officials of the Transitional Federal government forces and their critics as non-Muslims. However some of their leaders recently indicated that such statement was wrong.

The insurgents have been forced to change their stand when they realized that they were losing the support of the local people. The militants previously declared that they need not to satisfy the people.
