Bardere (Sunatimes) Traders in Bardere district of the Gedo regionhave delivered relief donations to Persons Displaced by the fierce clashes that were going on in parts of the Gedo region and Mogadishu city.

The traders donated food, tents and clothes to more than sixty families who established make shifts as home at Bulo Kurman and Bulo Kaskey areas of Bardere town.

The chairman of Bardere business community association, Bashir Nur Ahmed said the traders were willing to donate more. Nur said the association was concerned about the problems caused by the conflict.

Nur called on the groups involved in the fighting to spare the civilians.

Pro-government militia Ahlu-suna Waljamaa group recently supported the Transitional Federal Government forces to attack Al-shabab militants in parts of the Gedo region. Thousands of families were displaced during the fighting.
