Burco (Sunatimes) Somaliland women living in London have donated an unspecified amount of money to patients of Burao district hospital.

All Burao district hospital inpatients have received $10D each. Amino Aqil, one of the women who donated the funds on behalf of their colleagues in London told Bar-kulan that the money was collected by the Somaliland London women and their friends.

Aqil, thanked the donors and urged the other people among the Diaspora community to also offer some help to the less disadvantaged people.

Elswhere several members of Somaliland parliament have on Friday visited Burao Childrens home. The Burao orphans center is home to hundreds of children. The center currently lacks water after itswell dried up.

The manager of Burao Orphans home, Mohamed Shukri appealed for assistance to the center. The center also offers education to the orphan children.
