Mohamed Nur Abdirizak, who was identified as a senior member of the JSP, stated:

"The candidate they want is the one whose votes are entered into the system. There is no genuine one-person, one-vote election in the areas where the elections have been announced."

A source described as a senior official within the Independent Electoral Commission, who requested anonymity, also expressed concerns about the procedures used to register and count votes. According to the source, greater transparency, independent oversight, and accountability are needed to strengthen public confidence in the electoral process.

As of the time of publication, the Independent Electoral Commission and other relevant government institutions had not issued an official response to these allegations.

The same anonymous source, according to Sunatimes, also stated that concerns exist regarding the administration of the elections. The source further alleged that lists of candidates for the Galmudug Local Council and Galmudug House of Representatives elections had already been submitted as part of the electoral process.
