Mogadishu (Waagacusub Media) — Nine prominent Somali political figures, representing various parties, movements, and civic platforms, have officially announced the formation of a new broad-based political alliance named the "Union for National Dignity" (Midowga Haybad Qaran). The leaders, many of whom previously held senior government positions, issued a joint statement declaring their decision to unite under a single national political platform aimed at restoring unity, good governance, and accountability in Somalia.
