Mogadishu – The Commander of the Somali Police Force, Major General Asad Osman Abdullahi, received in his office the Head of EUCAP Somalia, Kęstutis Lančinskas, together with Dania Cossa, Head of Operations.
The high-level meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between the Somali Police Force and EUCAP Somalia, particularly in the areas of training, provision of equipment, and technical advisory support.
According to officials, the discussions reaffirmed EUCAP’s commitment to assist the Somali Police in building capacity, improving professionalism, and strengthening operational effectiveness.
This meeting forms part of the broader reform efforts spearheaded by Police Commissioner Asad, whose leadership has been marked by a visible transformation within the Somali Police Force.
