Speaking to the reporters in the capital, Hizbul Islam’s administrator in Mogadishu Moalim Hashi said it is forbidden for all Muslim men to shave their beards and let their moustaches grow.

“Tough measures will be taken against any man seen shaved. This is the Sunah of our prophet Muhammed peace of Allah be upon him.” Said Hashi.

This came as Hizbul Islam is in deep miscomprehension with Al-Shabaab, the most powerful Islamist insurgent linking to Al-Qaeda.
