The Djibouti embassy in Somalia has just issued a statement calling for ′′ All and all passport holders of the Republic of Djibouti are advised to sign up immediately for the embassy of the Republic of Djibouti in Mogadishu with two photos and copies of their passport ".
The message of the communiqué written in the French, Arabic and Somali languages.

If the contents of the communiqué are well read in all three languages, it is clear that Ismael Omar Guelleh is aimed not only at DJiboutians living in Somalia, but at all persons with a Djiboutian passport.

This statement, which has no date or signature, has been circulating since the afternoon of Wednesday, October 21, 2020 in Mogadishu.

It was already known that thousands of non-Djiboutians, mostly Somalis from Somalia, had the Djiboutian passport, but this news release announced a mass distribution of Djiboutian passport in Mogadishu.

This does not rule out a hidden objective of issuing passports to a very large number of al-shabab fighters. These jihadists from Al-Shabab will be able to easily move to Djibouti to surely carry out terrorist actions.

To be continued...
