    Somalia:NISA Official accused of gang-rape and kidnapping for ransom in Mogadishu

    Waagacusub.net- An official from NISA was accused of targeting the innocent residents in Mogadishu. Abdifatah Shaweey kidnapped Niema Abdirahman from Hodan district in Mogadishu and took her to a private house.

Waagacusub.net- An official from NISA was accused of targeting the innocent residents in Mogadishu. Abdifatah Shaweey kidnapped Niema Abdirahman from Hodan district in Mogadishu and took her to a private house. "He kidnapped me when I was walking near my home and then released me after two nights,"said Mrs  Abdirahman who contacted Waagacusub Media. It is believed that he gang-raped her while she was in his house.



The Intelligence officer did not stop there but he conducted other kidnappings to receive ransom from their captives' relatives.


Faay Nune is a mother whose her son was kidnapped by the official,she said: "He kidnapped my son at Hamarweyne market and he took him to the jail known as Godka Jilicow and I can't afford to pay the money, $5,000  that he demanded  for ransom."


Shaweey is a son of a hero named Ibraahim Shaweey. He served as a deputy governor of Banaadir for security. He applied asylum fro UK but he was rejected it. 


It is said that he is friendly person but he attacked Shabeele and SKY Fm radios and detained their journalists but eventually he himself was put under house arrest after he sacked from the post following a dispute with the head of NISA Abdirahman Tuuryare.


However, he was renamed he restarted the atrocities against the people and he accused of raping a girl.
