Congratulations on Your BBC Jersey Award Dear Genette, It gives me great joy to extend my heartfelt congratulations to you on being honored with the BBC Radio Jersey "Make a Difference Award 2025." This recognition is a testament to your lifelong dedication, wisdom, and the immeasurable impact you have had in serving communities across the world.

Allow me to introduce myself: I am Mr. Dahir Abdulle Alasow, an Investigative Journalist and the President of the Associated Somali Journalists (ASOJ), the Independent Somali Press. I proudly come from the Royal Somali family. My grandfather, Abdullahi Issa Mohamud, was the first Prime Minister of Somalia.
