During a banquet dinner for members of both chambers of parliament, President Mohamud stated that he is prepared to resolve the ongoing dispute by either traveling to the seats of power of the regional leaders or inviting them to Mogadishu, should it lead to a resolution.
"We will engage in dialogue with our brothers, as we have done in the past. We will pursue every avenue: if they agree to meet us, we will travel to them; if they prefer to come to us, we will earnestly invite them. There is no inherent conflict here; they are responsible individuals of dignity and distinction,” President Mohamud said.
