Waagacusub Media staff, executives and ownersvehemently condemn the cold-blood murder which send a chilling message about the dangerous working environment the media workers in Somalia operate.

Mr. Abdullahi Ano-Gel, a veteran journalist has led the Waagacusub's leading coverage about horn of Africa for years. He worked on the English section and in addition covered sports news for the website. Waagacusub media plans to start an extensive investigations into.the murder of the 'brilliant' journalist, according to Dahir Alasow, the editor in chief of the Waagacusub media.

Abdullahi Ali Hussein (Ano-Gel) was a well known Secondary school teacher who was respected in Mogadishu's education sector, he had great hand in the formation and implementation of the Somalia education umbrellas that filled the vacuum of the missing role of the ministry for education of Somalia.

Late Ano-Gel, was an education activist and Investigative Journalist, as well as motivational speaker who encouraged the freedom of Speech.
