Mogadishu (Sunatimes) Unknown gunmen shot to death journalist Ahmed Abdulahi Fanah, 32, who was the editor of Sunatimes.com at Dharkenley District in Mogadishu on Friday morning in the latest attack against the media in the East African country.
The assailants shot Hassan three times in the head near a high school in Yaqshid district, but fled the scene before police arrived, according to local journalists and news reports. Hassan, a reporter and producer for the private Radio Maanta, had covered Thursday’s suicide bomb attack at a popular café frequented by journalists and civil servants, news reports said.
The body ofAbdirahman Mohamed Ali 26 who was the Mogadishu director of most populer website Waagacusub.com was found beheaded at Barwaaqo restaurant at the suuqa xoolaha neighborhood on Thursday afternoon 27 Sept 2012, The Chief editor of Waagacusub Media Dahir Alasow Confirmed .
President of Associated Somali Journalists Mr Dahir Alasow who is also the Owner of Waagacusub.com said “ We know the People who behind the killing of Ahmed Abdullahi and Abdirahman Mohamed but will release statement soon,after when we finish our full investigation “
Mr Alasow Condemns the attacks against Journalists also he send condolence the last 15 Journalists who Murdered in Mogadishu.
“ Only I can say to day is dark day especially as we are Waagacusub and Sunatimes” Says Mr Alasow
