MOGADISHU (Sunatimes) A news report published on websites owned by Al-Shabaab
militants says that the group is very concerned about crucial meetings by its
rivals which are now underway in south of Galkaayo town of Somalia’s central
region of Mudug.
The report which posted on Kataaib and Alqimmah
on Thursday tells the meetings are being participated by officials from Ahlu-suna,
Puntland, Somaliland and US government.
“The meetings in Galkaayo are aimed to pose
risks against the Mujahideens of Al-Shabaab and the plot is being conducted by Abdi
Shukri Ali who was among the warlords of anti-terrorism.” Said in the statement
adding that General Mohamud Nor Galal attended the meetings.
In its statement, Al-Shabaab said the ongoing meetings
are all about to attack Elbur and Harardhere.
The outcry by the Al-Shabaab over the meeting
in Galkaayo comes days after the political leader of Ahlu-suna National Front
Abdi Shukri Ali Hersi reached there.

Somalia's Al-Qaeda linked group Al-Shabaab gives more attention to the activities by Ahlu-suna.
