The Ministry of Interior and the Immigration & Naturalization Agency have committed to fully integrating their databases, training officials, and conducting public awareness campaigns in the months leading up to the implementation deadlines.
"This initiative reflects the Federal Government’s vision of establishing a modern, secure, and transparent identification and immigration system that meets the growing demands of Somali citizens,” a government source stated.
The cooperation between the two institutions is expected to result in a streamlined, trustworthy, and efficient passport application process—ensuring faster service delivery and higher data integrity.
