Sunatimes.com - Qatar's interference in Somalia threatens a civil war, since Jubaland election results confused Hamadeen.
Ahmed Madobe has been re-elected as President of Jubaland after winning 56 votes out of 74 of the members of Parliament.
Abdullah Farmajo, Qatar's follower, refused to accept the results and appointed a new government that owes loyalty to him, seeking to control the state before the 2020 elections.
Farmajo faces public anger due to his pro-Qatari policies and his moves against Madobe aim at defending Doha’s interests.
Jubaland leader managed to restore security and investments and showed up his ability to control the terrorist movement Al-Shabaab. He also refused to deal with the Qatari regime.
