Allegations of Welfare Fraud
Solda Safety Network claims Mohamud receives Swiss welfare benefits while simultaneously generating large, undeclared income online. He is said to earn more than USD 1,000 every night from TikTok livestreams and, on at least one occasion, collected over USD 100,000 (≈ 20 million TikTok coins) in a single night.
Despite this income, he continues to live in government-subsidized accommodation, with rent paid directly by Swiss authorities—raising serious concerns about welfare fraud.
Fraud Against a Vulnerable Mother
The group also accuses Mohamud of defrauding USD 4,800 from Farhiya Diiriye Dufle, a Somali mother whose young child is seriously ill. According to the report, the money was collected during a TikTok livestream under the pretense of support, but Mohamud later refused to hand it over, claiming it had been given to someone else.
Exploitation, Drugs, and Suspected Terror Financing
In addition to financial fraud, the activist group alleges Mohamud has engaged in:
Call for Action
