Sunatimes.com - Police in Germany and Netherlands are investigating criminal case against Somali killer who vowed to kill journalist Dahir Alasow. This man who lives in Germany, and whose youtube username is KABTAN AYUUB filed unsubstantiated "False copyright takedown" on videos belonging to Dahir Alasow, even though Facebook reinstated images removed from his Facebook page.

"Kabtan Ayuub asked me to pay extortion of 1000 Euros, and instructed me to send to Somalia. I refused and he threatened to kill me. He furthermore used facebook rights manager granted to his Facebook page” said Dahir Alasow, added that he submitted all the evidences to the Dutch police.

Journalist Dahir Alasow who is a member of Netherlands journalists’ association NVJ raised question on why Facebook has granted such irresponsible person the privilege of Facebook rights manager.

Kabtan Ayuub who uses several aliases such as Ayub Abdirizak Ahmed and Abdirizak Nuur Qaleey has been abductor who kidnapped the biggest number of children in Somalia. His images are circulating in the social media. He later joined Puntland pirates, and I have video footage showing him claiming to have attacked Galkayo police station, killed the police officers, and forcefully released terrorist prisoner from the police station” said Alasow. 

Although the German government rejected his claim of asylum, number of Somalis described him as a "killer who intimidates people on facebook”.

Statement on his Facebook page says he is ready to face 10 years prison sentence after he kills Dahir Alasow.

I did not get response from Facebook management when I wrote to them about the misuse of Facebook rights manager by Kabtan Ayuub.

Journalist Dahir Alasow assured to the press that he’ll go to court. There are people out there who misuse social media like Kabtan Ayuub, who commit criminal activities deliberately.
