NAIROBI (Sunatimes)-Kenyans and other people held hostage by Somali pirates have been threatened by death.
Ms Asha Bakari recounted how her son Leonard Njore, who is one among the 10 Kenyans, spoke to her a week ago. She said he almost cried as he narrated the hardships they were going through in the hands of the pirates.
"He was so heartbroken and sounded very worried. He said they were being guarded by men in full combat gear, who constantly threatened to kill them," she said. She quoted her son saying: "We have no water, the vessel has no fuel and there is no food. We fear it might even sink."
