Journalists (ASOJ) Dahir Abdulle Alasow congratulated the new Somalia’s
minister of information Abdirahman Omar Osman known as (Eng. Yarisow) and welcomed
his calls for recording all violations against the free press as positive step.
“Your call for documentations on all
the abuses subjected at the independent media personals and counting down all
the doers are indeed efficient task that all your predecessors could not dare,
therefore in my advice, you should give full respect and show wider cooperation
to the independent media outlets.” said Alasow.

former information minister Dahir Mohamud Gelle did many good things like
employing journalists who were near to flee the country for their own safety
and also helped Somalia’s national Radio Mogadishu to restart operation.

can help strength the freedom of speech and offering respect to all Somali
