Mogadishu, Somalia – The Alasow Foundation has conducted a major humanitarian food distribution aimed at supporting 100 vulnerable families across the capital, as part of its ongoing effort to assist low-income households facing economic hardship.
The distribution took place in a designated open courtyard in Mogadishu, where families received essential food staples including rice, flour, sugar, and cooking oil. Each package was clearly labeled with the Alasow Foundation emblem to uphold transparency and ensure that aid reached those most in need.
According to the foundation, the initiative reflects its wider humanitarian mission to combat hunger, support struggling families, and provide emergency assistance to communities affected by poverty, unemployment, and rising living costs.
"Supporting vulnerable families is at the heart of our humanitarian work,” the foundation said in an official statement. "We remain committed to expanding our relief efforts across Somalia, especially in regions where the need is greatest.”
