    Former ASWJ leader buried in Galkayo

    Former ASWJ leader in central Somalia, Sheikh Omar Sheikh Mohamed Farah has on Sunday been buried in Salgadud grave yard in Galkayo, Mudug region.

Former ASWJ leader in central Somalia, Sheikh Omar Sheikh Mohamed Farah has on Sunday been buried in Salgadud grave yard in Galkayo, Mudug region.

The burial of Sheikh Mohamed who died in a tragic car accident on Saturday night was attended by officials from Galmudug administration led by Galmudug vice president Abdisamad Noor Gulied.

The vice president and other officials extended their sincere condolences to his family, friends and ASWJ leaders on the tragic death of Sheikh Omar Sheikh Mohamed Farah.

Sheikh Omar was born in El-bur district in 1975 and became the first leader of ASWJ group and was one of the group’s top figures before he died.

Four other ASWJ officials have reportedly been injured on the accident which occurred in a road between Dagari and Galkayo.
