In a press conference in Hargeisa on Thursday, international partners urged the three candidates in Somaliland's presidential race to accept the results of the November 13 election held in the breakaway region.
Following their election observations at polling stations in Hargeisa and Borama, foreign ambassadors to Somalia, including those from the UK, France, and the EU, conferred with Somaliland President Muse Bihi Abdi.

The foreign diplomats also engaged with the presidential candidates of the opposition parties, UCID and Waddani, urging them to respect the election results once announced. They further commended Somaliland’s citizens for peacefully exercising their right to vote.
