Sunatimes.com - Women's rights groups and human rights groups have not commented on the abduction of the woman who was abducted by Somalia's intelligence chief, Mr Fahad Yasin.
It was not too long afterward — on June 26 — that the analyst Tahlil was abducted, said her mother, Qali Mohamud Guhad, in an interview. The last time she spoke with her daughter was via a WhatsApp call that night, Mohamud said. Tahlil told her that she was going to see the security chief, Yasin, who she said had been calling her all day.
The intelligence agency announced in early September that an investigation found that al-Shabab had killed Tahlil but Somali terrorist group al-Shabab has strongly denied an accusation by the country’s National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) that it killed an agency employee abducted two months ago. Her parents contend the agency was responsible. She was abducted June 26 near her home in Mogadishu’s Abdulaziz district, which is close to the agency’s headquarters.
