    Hijacked Ship Docks at the Somali Coast

    Bosaso (Sunatimes) Somali pirates have at last brought the Malta flagged ship to the Somali cost. The ship docked at Eelay district in Punt land’s Eastern region.

Bosaso (Sunatimes) Somali pirates have at last brought the Malta flagged ship to the Somali cost. The ship docked at Eelay district in Punt land’s Eastern region.

It is said that the pirated ship had been sailing west in the internationally recommended transit corridor, an area where international navies coordinate the patrol of maritime transits before it was hijacked.

The Malt flagged ship has got eighteen seamen on board, fifteen of them a Georgian nationals and the rest are Turkish.

The Somali pirates who have hijacked the ship have earlier left Eeley district when they have started their mission. They have already started negations on ransom payment.

The Malta flagged Mv Olib G is carrying 6.3 tones of bulk. The pirates have hijacked the ship at the Gulf of Aden waters on Wednesday.
