Dr. Abdi Mohamud Ali, who was the former hospital director where World Vision Organization was operating in Baidabo Baidabo (Sunatimes) After the Al-shabab militia group ordered the World Vision Organization to stop operations in Southern Somalia, TB patients in Baidabo started to suffer as they were no longer receiving medicine and other forms of humanitarian aid.

World Vision once helped TB patients by providing basic needs such as food, apart from the treatment they also received. Some of the patients were in the middle of their treatment.

Some patients said they are now experiencing many health problems because they have stopped taking the medicines.

Dr. Abdi Mohamud Ali, who was the former hospital director where World Vision Organization was operating in Baidabo, said that the hospital once served more than two hundred TB patients.

He said a number of them did not finish treatment and that could put their health at risk
