Nairobi,Sunatimes.com The president of Somalia’s Transitional Federal Government, Sheikh Sheriff Sheikh Ahmed has met with some of the TFG larders and international diplomats in the Kenyan capital Nairobi last night. The president is on transit to Egypt, Cairo.

President Sharif last night met with American and Italian diplomats. The diplomats and the president have discussed the current affairs and the situation in Somalia.

President Sheriff also met with the speaker of Somalia’s national assembly, Hon. Sheriff Hassan Sheikh Adan who returned from the IGAD’s parliaments meeting in Adisababa yesterday. The speaker briefed the president on what the speakers from IGAD countries discussed in Adisababa.

The Somali president is expected to fly to Egypt today to meet with his Egyptian counterpart Mohamed Husni Mubarak who invited him. President Sheriff will also travel to Italy and Uganda where he will meet with several leaders of those countries.
