The new house rules were being discussed for the whole part of last week

Mogadishu: Sunatimes-The parliament of the Transitional Federal Government of Somalia has approved some of the new parliament standing orders.

The new house rules were being discussed for the whole part of last week and at the end of this week where the MPs discussed some of those rules.

The sections of the standing orders that were today passed by the MPs are; the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th sections respectively. The parliamentarians are still discussing the other parts and will adopt them all as soon as consensus is reached.

The first deputy speaker of the house Abdiweli Ibrahim Sheikh Mudey who was in charge of today’s session oversaw the voting for the sections of the new parliament standing orders that were passed.
