Garowe:Sunatimes –Security officials in Garowe, which is the capital of the semi-autonomous region of Puntland, arrested several youths in a security operation they carried out last night.

The operation was carried out at some of the estates within town and the arrested youths are accused of being involved in activities that could undermine town security. Two groups of youths from two different estates in the capital clashed and the police declared the acts as threats to security.

Some of the police officers involved in the operation told Bar-kulan’s reporter in Garowe that they will continue with the operation until the rival groups fighting in the estates are eliminated, and that they will prosecute those involved in the fighting.
