Darman was arrested when an owner of a hotel in Switzerland called the Zurich central police and complained that he suspected his customer (Darman) that he wants to escape the hotel without paying his bills that mounted more than EURO 70,000.

He lived in a Hotel since a Syrian spy with a German passport Farhad Ibrasimovic left him to establish an agreement with some companies that would sing contracts with Darman but failed to reappear again since December when he checked in the super resort hotel in Zurich.

Darman checked in the hotel as the president of Somalia and was trusted in that name and loaned some money during his stay, but he failed to pay both the loan and the bills when Ibrasimovic escaped from him.

Some good Samaritans and family members paid the money when they learned that Darman was in jailed and released him from Zurich Police cell, and he headed to Nairobi with anger and hassle according to family sources close to him.

In December 2010, Darman left in Nairobi some members of a delegation he led there to help him campaign for the presidential campiang, but he didn’t return when he told that he will meet his wife in Dubai and will return in days.

A member of his delegation told Sunatimes that they were held in the hotel until they finally paid $9,000 US dollars of the hotel services after Darman failed to return.

Darman claims that president of Somalia and had released some Somali migrants from Jails in Turkey and other countries, and he was released by Somali good Samaritans who wanted to release him because of his good turn of the Somali migrants.

He claimed to be the president of Somalia 9 years ago and spent millions of dollars which finished his wealth and put him family and financial crisis.

The political misconduct of Mr. Darman which led him to be a once rich man, but now a poor politician that lost his wife Daruuro, a well known business woman based in Dubai who requested and succeeded divorce after Darman failed to fill the family expectations according to his previous wife.

Daruuro married a Somali lawmaker from her clan in Dubai few months ago, when Darman told members of his delegation that he was supposed to meet her.
