    Somali President called the Opposition the nation's enemy after Al-Shabaab

    Mogadishu, Somalia (Waagacusub.Net) — President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud says the Somalia's political opposition members are the nation's enemy.

Mogadishu, Somalia (Waagacusub.Net) — President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud says the Somalia's political opposition members are the nation's enemy.

Speaking with the local media, he said the opposition members are the second enemy after Al-Qaeda aligned militant of Al-Shabaab and should be protected from the country. 

Ahmed Moalim Fiqi, a politician and former Director of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA), said Mr. Mohamud's campaign statement is  dangerous and profanation to the Somalia's political life.

Fiqi says the threats from the outgoing president is not different from Al-Shabaab's word which calls its critiques as apostates. He asked the President to hold Press Conference and withdraw his statement immediately.

The Somalia's opposition alliance group called the statement an  intimidation, threat and an irresponsible which indicates his failures in terms of the national policy.

Meanwhile, The Somalia's opposition alliance group called on Somalis and the international Community to be aware that individuals serving the interests of President Mohamud have been included in the Somali National Independent Electoral Commission. 

The opposition  warned that they will reject any individual in the   Somali National Independent Electoral Commission favoring President Mohamud.
