    Jubaland President on Official Visit to Kenya

    Speaking with the Media , Jubaland's Minister of internal affairs and Security ,Mohamed Farah Warsame Darwish said that the president will discuss the Kenyan officials about the security and many other issues.

Speaking with the Media , Jubaland's Minister of internal affairs and Security ,Mohamed Farah Warsame Darwish said that the president will discuss the Kenyan officials about the security and many other issues.
(Jubbalandi )-President Ahmed Mohamed Islam (Ahmed Madobe) of Jubaland departed from Kismayo International Airport heading to Kenya on Sunday with an agenda of discussing with Kenyan Officials on areas under Shabaab’s control.
After engaging fierce fighting with Al-Shabaab , Jubaland Forces better known as ” The Dervishes” liberated many towns in Jubaland from Al-Shabaab in the last year.
President Ahmed Madobe will likely discuss with the Kenyan officials about the recent military gains and to lay out a new plan to wage an offensive against the militant in a bid to liberate the last remaining towns under the terrorist’s rule.
Speaking with the Media , Jubaland’s Minister of internal affairs and Security ,Mohamed Farah Warsame ‘Darwish’ said that the president will discuss the Kenyan officials about the security and many other issues.
After months of fight with internationally-backed African troops and government troops the militant abandoned many strategic towns including towns that had been key sources of revenue for its operation.
President Ahmed reached deals with the President of the FGS ,Hassan Sheikh Mohamud that wouldn’t happen a year ago due to deep mistrust between the two presidents, following a media and political campaign against Jubaland State.
Jubaland enjoys a good relationship with neighbouring countries and has signed a historical Memorandum of Understanding with Southwest State of Somalia on 30 December, 2014.
Jubaland government ministers will visit a number of countries in the coming months. This will include trips to Asia, Europe,NorthAmerica, South Africa, China and so on. This is designed to encourage investment in Somalia in general and Jubaland in particular, as it reaches out to different parts of the Somali society.
