Himan and Heeb authorities in central Somali regions have officially started to collect tax money from businesses in some of its administered areas.
Adado district commissioner for Himan and Heeb Administration, Abdullahi Abdirahman Hussein told Bar-kulan that the collection of taxes came after the authorities and the business communities in the area agreed on the subject.
He added that the collection of taxes have already started in several towns including Adado, Godinlabe and Bahdo.
Hussein underlined that the money will be used to provide essential services to the people in Himan and Heeb administered areas.
He finally urged the business people in the area to pay their taxes on time.
