The European Union chief for Horn of Africa, Alexander Rondos headed the delegation which was composed of dignitaries from America, Britain, Italy, Kenya, Ethiopia and senior official from OIGAD.
In a press conference Prof. Jawari said the meeting was meant to exchange contacts so that the new parliament can work properly with its partners.
The speaker appreciated and expressed his concern for the visit of the delegation in a bid to promote working relationships.
Meanwhile, the European Union chief for Horn of Africa, Alexander Rondos congratulated the newly elected speaker where he promised to strengthen their support for Somalia.
EU is the largest donor for providing support to the two-decade old suffering Somali-nation.

Prof. Jawari meets delegates in Mogadishu.
An international delegation landed in Mogadishu on Wednesday to meet newly elected Somali parliament speaker, Prof. Mohamed Sheikh Osman Jawari.
