The minister of defense of Somali interim government Abdihakin Haji Mohamud Fiqi speaking yesterday to the local media in Mogadishu said that Shabab enlisted in the last day elders and children for the fighting against Somali government and AMISOM he also said Shabab began to assassinate the children from the villages of the region they control.

The minister of defense being the deputy prime minister of Somali interim government told they got information confirming that Shabab take the children and elders from the region they dominate and deploy to Mogadishu where heavy fighting between the government with AMISOM and Shabab is going on.

 Fiqi added that the children recruited by Shabab their age is between 12-15 yrs those are put on viewed to wards the fighting against the government.

The minister of defense Abdihakin Haji Fiqi stated that the interim government is for the country and will sooner take a way all the country; he called for government troops to double their efforts in the fighting against Shabab.

The talk of the minister came as heavy fighting between the government backed by AMISOM and Shabab took place yesterday in Mogadishu and Balad-hawo district of Gedo and Banadir regions.
