Garowe (Sunatimes) A delegation from the autonomous region of Puntland led by President Abdirahman Mohamed Farole, has traveled to Djibouti today.
Puntland’s delegation left the capital, Garowe on Wednesday shortly after mid day. The leaders of the self governed region are expected to meet some UN officials, representatives of Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), and ambassadors of various governments serving in Djibouti.
Puntland president, Abdirahman Farole held a press conference at the air port shortly before he flew to Djibouti. Farole, commented on recent disputes between his regional autonomous government and the Trasnitional Federal Government.
President Farole has recently announced that the Puntland government has suspended it’s cooperation and partnership with the TFG.
However, the regional leader said he will discuss Puntland’s concern and the general intrest of Somali with the leaders he is to meet in Djibouti.
