In a heartfelt tribute that spans continents, Judge Dahir Alasow, the founder of the Som Civil Court, has extended his deepest condolences following the passing of the beloved Judge Frank Caprio.

"On behalf of the Som Civil Court, I extend my deepest condolences to the family of Judge Frank Caprio, and to all those around the world who admired his legacy,” said Judge Alasow.

Judge Caprio—celebrated for his warmth, compassion, and unwavering justice—has left an indelible impact on countless lives. Judge Alasow described him as an enduring symbol of humane jurisprudence: "Judge Frank will always be remembered for his compassion, fairness, and humanity in the pursuit of justice.”

His influence proved personal as well as profound. "Personally, his programming deeply inspired me and became one of the main reasons I founded the Som Civil Court,” said Judge Alasow. The visionary judge’s legacy has thus transcended borders, shaping new institutions grounded in bold compassionate ideals.

Though Judge Alasow acknowledges he may never replicate Caprio’s unique blend of grace and kindness, he remains resolute in preserving the values that defined his mentor: "While I know I may never deliver justice with the same grace and kindness that he embodied, I am determined to honor his legacy by upholding the principles of justice and fairness.”
