Mogadishu: Bar-kulan: Two people died when their house was hit by a mortar in Mogadishu’s Shangani area. Another person was also injured and immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. The two people who died were elderly parents of the family whose house was hit by the mortar. The family had earlier fled from another estate in Mogadishu early this year. The injured person is a young man who is a member of the family. The mortar has also partly destroyed the house it hit. A relative of that family said that the mortar that hit their house was thrown from the side where Al-shabab militias have camped. The militias are fighting the Transitional Federal Government forces and those of the African Union. The on going violence in Mogadishu mostly affects the civilians living in the capital of the HORN OF Africa nation that had not central government for almost two decades.
