Afgoye (Sunatimes) Hizbul-islam militias today killed a Khat trader in Afgoye town. The deceased businessman was only identified as Shiikhey.

The trader was shot by one of the militia men who were on patrol after a little argument. After shooting the trader, the militia man left the scene of crime.

Hizbul-islam militia did not take any action against the militia man who killed the trader and their administration did not comment on the incident.

Hizbul-islam militias who control Afgoye district have earlier ordered Khat traders to sell the product in a designated market at the outskirts of the town.

The trader who was today killed by the militia was one of the businessmen who usually defy the orders of Hizbul-islam militias
