Speaking at a press conference in Qardho, the mayor said that cases of insecurity over the last couple of days have been reported in various neighborhoods in the town over land ownership disputes.

He warned those he said are fuelling the situation and urged them to refrain from such activities and let local authorities deal with the matter.

He added that they will not allow anyone to buy or sell property without the consent of the local authorities.
