Addressing the nation in a televised speech through the state broadcaster, president Sharif said the attack was cruel, saying that it was a destruction of peace and stability in the country.
The president urged the public to unite in facing and defeating a common enemy, adding that terrorist groups will be crashed in the long run.
Meanwhile the U.S government through White House spokesman Jay Carney has also condemned the attack.
Carney said the attack was a terrorist attack that was aimed at obstructing resemblance of law and order in the country.
The U.S said it will stand alongside the government in order to defeat Al-Shabaab militants and restore law and order in the chaotic Horn of African country.

President Sharif condemns Mogadishu’s suicide attack
Somalia’s president Sharif Sheikh Ahmed has condemned to the strongest term possible the Wednesday suicide attack that killed four people and injured dozen others including journalists and politicians.
