Minnesota reports single-day record 2,297 new COVID-19 cases

Minnesota health officials reported a record-setting 2,297 new COVID-19 cases Friday, the first time that the state has surpassed a daily total of 2,000. Friday's case count is 50% higher than the last daily record of 1,516 cases last Saturday.
