Baidoa TB patients call for help

TB patients in Baidoa’s Shanta jid camp are complaining of harsh living conditions facing them, citing lack of nutritious foods as well as proper healthcare.

Ibrahim Kusow Ali, one of these patients in the camp, told Sunatimes their deteriorating condition has now worsened with the onset of the Deyr rains which comes with extremely cold weather.

He said most of the patients have no proper shelter and nutritious food to improve their diets as they continue tackling their illness.

Ali urged local traders and other well wishers including aid agencies to respond to their needs.
