Two passengers killed by unknown gangs in Bay.

Two passengers were last night killed and three more injured in a truck following an attack by unknown gangs in Bay region.

The truck loaded with goods was heading to Mogadishu when it was ambushed in between Burhabaka and Wanlaweyn districts in the Bay and lower Shabele regions of Somalia.

Some of the eyewitness told Sunatimes that the injured passengers were rushed to medical centres in a bid to save their lives.

Al-Shabaab militia stay put in the road that connects Burhabaka and Wanlaweyn districts even though the criminals who ambushed the truck are yet to be known.

Initially the lifeline between the two districts was safe before gangs ambushed the truck last night.
