Asha Ahmed declares her candidacy for the presidency.

Asha Ahmed Abdalla one of the Somali women politicians announced her bid for the presidency earlier today.

Asha said the war-torn Somali nation has been suffering for many years under the leadership of men.

If elected into office Aisha promised to solve the two-decade old suffering in Somalia as well promote equality among the Somali people.

Her declaration for the presidency comes at a time when the new parliament has endorsed the presidential election commission.
