It would be Interesting to see who the Bank goes after and who they chooses to silence by taking them to court, given we are not talking about some Kangaroo court in Buroa.
Hargeisa(SDN)-Dahabshiil Bank in a released statement vows to take on media houses that covered the Hacktivists attacks that targeted their servers for what they called war on terror campaign.
Warrining “some websites” for taking some time to explain to the public on the biggest news hitting The Somali finnincial institution.
“We are aware that some sites published a false information(the hacking of their computers) and it’s not the first time” the Bank said in a statement.
The statement conculuded with a legal treat rather then an explanation and offering their side of this International news.
Dahabshiil Bank dismissed the data on the net as beeing that of their customers dispite the abviouse info available to all, such as names, phone numbers and e-mails of their Clients.
“The info published by these Sites are not accurate ,and these sites who published these false info should know we intend to take them to court” the stetement read.
The Anonymous attack on Dahabshiil is covered mostly by the international media yet this aggresive statement is in Somali,so it could be interpeted as to silence Somali Media houses.
It would be Interesting to see who the Bank goes after and who they chooses to silence by taking them to court, given we are not talking about some Kangaroo court in Buroa.
Nevertheless it seems Dahabshiil Bank missed an opportunity to get ahead of this huge story and deal with the issue at hand and rather went with silencing the press and denial.4
