Two killed in road carnage in parts Mudug region

Two people have been killed and three others injured in a grisly road accident in an eare between Harfo and Ba’adweyn towns of Mudug region.

The accident which occurred last night involved a minibus ferrying passengers from central Somali city of Galkayo to Burtinle in northern Somalia.

The cause of this fatal accident is yet to be established. The driver and a female passenger reportedly died on the spot while the injuries were rushed to health facilities in northern Galkayo.

Although the exact cause of the accident still remains unknown, some locals blame awful roads in the area for such fatal accidents.
