Zimbabwe(Sunatimes) More than forty Somali refuges have been detained in Harare, the capital of Zimbabwe for allegations of entering the country illegally.
The Daily Sun, a journal published in Harare, reported that the Somalis escaped from a refugee camp in Mozambique before entering into Zimbabwe.
The police said the Somalis are going to be brought before the court in the Friday coming. The Somali detainees are currently held in the central police station of Harare.
In the last week, a court in Zimbabwe charged some Somalis with fines and deportation from the country. Many Somalis refugees have been flocking to South Africa through Malawi, Mozambique and Zimbabwe.
