Buhodle (Sunatimes) Two children are reported to have died of thirst in a village 70 km north west of Buhodle, Sool region as said by Harir Mohamud Ahmed, the commissioner of Ayn province for Puntland administration.
Harir Mohamud Ahmed said the administration of Puntland should hold accountable the Aid Agencies who do not give aid at the right time.
The leader pointed out that Buhodle well is not sufficient for the population and their animals to drink.
The town of Buhodle and the surrounding villages experienced severe drought despites efforts by the Somali Diaspora to help the people. The clerics in the town have been carrying out prayers to ask for rain in the last two days.
